shot or three different shots all designed to stop his heart. >> there are some reasons to argue that the one-drug method may be more humane. >> reporter: this law professor says if albert brown chooses the single shot, legally the state must comply. it's 25 times the drug given to patients to knock the patient out before surgery. >> the prisoner would be hypoxic and blue. in a short period of time, the heart will stop beating, and then the prisoner will die. >> reporter: the other option is a cocktail that the california previously used. the first knocked him out, the second paralyzed the person, and then the third stops the
